A Letter to Fellow African Youth (THE LAST GENERATION OF POVERTY) By The Light Team

Hello to you Fellow AFRICAN Youth,

I won’t ask how you are because I know how I am!

I know it’s not well with you all! Most of us are at war! Civil wars, Poverty, Diseases, Under-development, Unemployment, Corruption, Illiteracy, injustice, Domestic violence and other Family Problems; plus so many other challenges that grasp us down! I SALUTE YOU ALL SOLDIERS

The whole world BELIEVES in us, and is looking forward upon us as hope and the future. Most of us have no clue on how we going to end all these challenges! But its OK, we don’t need a clue; all we need is a little understanding of our abilities and potent-power to rise against these challenges.

And this is the purpose of my letter; sharing with you what I believe to be a significant step, towards counter-attacking these problems. The challenges we are facing today are the enemies of our present life and the future of our children. However, on the other insight; these challenges are the catalyst to where we have to be and where we want to be!

No enemies, no fighting; no fighting, no getting stronger/growth, no growth no victory; No victory no development! So we are in a right place! YES, POVERTY, HUNGER, CIVIL WARS, ILLITERACY, UNEMPLOYMENT IS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR US TO BE. Why; because we can WIN, we will win! And as Matter of fact; WE ARE WINNING.

BEING AT WAR IS SURELY THE RIGHT PLACE TO BE!  Don’t you stay at home, hiding or fearing war! Step out, Know what you can DO, Then Do it for YOUR COUNTRY, Do it for your world.

We are at the mid of an intensive darkness, but from far away we can see the light! Fighting in the wrong side of the battle is to think this light is coming towards us! NO! WE ARE MATCHING TOWARDS IT; in-to where the future of our children is no longer uncertain.

No one is going to bring the light to us, WE ARE TO MATCH TOWARDS IT. And it’s not going to be easy, IT SHOULDN’T BE EASY. This light are the inventive spirits by African Youth, the talents, the education, global involvement and motivated youth; hard working and committed young spirits. These are the heroes changing the present and the future of our world.

It has to reach a turning point of mediocre mindsets of scattering what we didn’t gather and reaping what we didn’t saw! Let us fight in the right side of the battle. Yes we have corrupted leaders; but they won’t stay there forever, we have to question ourselves “if this leader will be out sooner or later, DO WE HAVE THE LEADERS WE WANT? ARE YOU A LEADER WE NEED? AM I A LEADER MY PEOPLE NEED?”

If there is a challenge we have in Africa, it is deficiency of givers/servants! People who commit themselves to others; carrying out their responsibilities with one intention of giving the best they could to the world. People who whether they get something or get nothing in return, they will still DO IT; People who GIVE because GIVING is what they are. Givers are the People who have abundance of imperishable wealth in within themselves.

The youth who are the most affected people by misappropriation of their leaders, sees leadership position as an opportunity to eat. WE HAVE TO KNOW THAT, WE CAN LEAD WITHOUT EMBEZZLEMENT. IT IS POSSIBLE and that’s how it supposes to be.

WE HAVE REVOLVED IN THE SAME CIRCLE FOR NEARLY A CENTURY NOW; WE NEED TO BREAK THE CIRCLE AND BEGIN TO BUILD FOR THE COMING GENERATION! We have missed what we deserved, LET US BE THE LAST ONE TO MISS.

Our children deserves a better education, a well organized education system, they deserve better housing, health care, environmental sustainability, holiday tour, they deserve peace and freedom; they deserve better parents and leaders. WE ARE IN DEBT.

Most of us have heard a calling; a calling to fight, a calling to build, and a calling to give. We are the HEROES of this generation and the generations to come. We all know it is not OK, It is not OK to have all the natural resources and talents and the human resources we have and yet die from hunger, deprived from education and suffer the consequences of poverty.

WE HAVE TO BE THE LAST GENERATION OF POVERTY. IT IS POSSIBLE
